Rachel D. Ebert, Esq. is a fifth-generation resident of Volusia County and a proud graduate of DeLand High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctorate degree form Liberty University School of Law where she received the Meritorious Service Award for Community Service.
A member of the Florida Bar since 2011, Rachel began her legal career as a prosecutor in the Office of the State Attorney, 7th Judicial Circuit. As a trial lawyer, she prosecuted hundreds of cases including domestic violence, DUI, drug charges, conspiracy, armed burglary and sexual abuse offenses. After four years of successful trial work, she joined the law firm of Landis Graham French, P.A., where she became a civil litigator; practicing Family Law, Contract Disputes, Property Law and Personal Injury.
With her extensive trial experience and civil litigation background, Rachel has the tenacity and skills it takes to effectively represent her clients.
Today Rachel serves on the Board of Directors of the Volusia County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. She is the Secretary of the Volusia Flagler Association for Women Lawyers, a member of the Dunn-Blount Inn of Court and was appointed by The Florida Bar to serve on the Leadership Academy Committee. Rachel is a graduate of Leadership West Volusia, Class XXXII and serves on the Daytona Beach Domestic Violence Advisory Committee.
Rachel has always been passionate about serving her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the DeLand Family YMCA, regularly volunteers at local charities through her membership in The Junior Service League of DeLand and volunteers as a Teen Court Judge. In 2016, the Florida Division of Blind Services awarded Rachel the Exceptional Client Achievement Award for service to their program. Rachel is the founder and Executive Director of 4SITE, Inc., a nonprofit scholarship program serving local students with low vision who are Seeking Independence Through Education.
